World of Warcraft's Silvermoon City is being Recreated In Minecraft

The blood elf's capital is receiving the affection it deserves.

World of Warcraft's Silvermoon City is getting a Minecraft revamp, and some screenshots of the work-in-progress are being presented by Reddit user Lillmy03.

The Reddit thread (opens in new tab) (spotted by Icy Veins (opens in new tab)) contains a picture of the capital's blood elf entrance in Eversong Woods, with the trees that line the road raised and the gold trim around the large doorway. The flowers can be seen scattered around the smaller bushes on one side. You can also view the Walk of Elders and a map overlay inside the city.

Building familiar landscapes from other games in Minecraft must take lots of planning (and patience). Silvermoon City is particularly difficult because you can't just climb a flying mount to get a great view of the entire area.

Still, that doesn't seem to put gamers off Genshin Impact's Mondstadt (opens in new tab) was given the Minecraft treatment earlier in the year, and the Breath of the Wild map (opens in a new tab) is stunning.

"It's still very raw, and many things require more detail however, it's getting there! It's going to take some time to finish the whole thing though." says Lillmy03. Mc list It's worth the wait, I'm sure.
