Diablo Immortal Bug Refuses Players with Reduced EXP

Players of the RPG Diablo Immortal are being perplexed by a bug known as "Diablo Immortal". The issue this time is a random decrease in EXP gained from enemies when farming. Some of the game's most passionate grinding enthusiasts have been trying to determine the root of the problem which is causing farming to become less efficient due to the random fluctuations of earned experience values.

Reddit user staplepies shared their findings on the subject to the subreddit for the game. GSERVERS After a few hours of research into the topic, Staplepies claims they are among the most renowned American game farming experts. They were also among the first to attain paragon level 150.

These examples are for Shassar Oasis, but Staplepies states that the issue "happens everywhere" due to their high paragon levels (generally 13-14 levels higher than server paragon levels) The amount of experience they have earned has been cut by 10%. This is Diablo Immortal’s method of keeping their server's population at a similar pace.

Staplepies observed oddities in their log's experience values. Shassar Oasis has three distinct enemies: Dust Imps (54XP), Drubs (48% XP) and Sand Golems (1129 XP). If everything is functioning normal and the location is in good order, these three numbers should be the only ones that pop up in the location when fighting non-elite mobs (Staplepies notes that the bug also affects elite mobs however, they have not included these in their examples to keep the numbers simple).

Then, they show a string of increasingly bizarre numbers popping up - some marginally lower, for instance, a Dust Imp awarding 42 experience instead of the expected 54, and others dropping as low as just 1 or 2 experience for a mob. Staplepies says that "when things get really bad you'll see long runs of kills in which every single one is bugged." Game Servers The bug could also affect the experience globes that drop randomly, and these don't necessarily match up to the killed experience values that are bugged.

Staplepies also tested the bug at a party. They stated that the bug affects all players in their group but not at the exact same time or with the same values. It can happen when you play on your own or as part of groups, and it doesn't seem affected by proximity or size. They also conducted tests to ensure that the random numbers weren't being generated by other sources such as events or quests, and they found that the issue is occurring for players who are at different levels (meaning that it is not necessarily tied to the experience penalty intended for being at a higher paragon level than the server).

There are other causes that they are pondering in their mind - Staplepies claims that they've noticed a higher proportion of bugs in experience values in specific zones and that the percentage of values bugged has been different at different times of the day. They are now investigating whether the activity of players in a server or zone could be the reason - for example, an overload of players could cause an issue with the code.

Whatever the reason the issue is causing a lot of trouble for players who are committed to farming. Higher paragon levels can help players compete without spending a lot of money. Staplepies describes himself as an individual with a small budget, but is able to be competitive with players with resonance levels between 3-5x and 3-4x for a few days. They may also be among the first to achieve an additional paragon level until other players catch up. They welcome suggestions and suggestions from anyone with an idea or suggestion to help them find the root of the issue.
